We had such a great time in Maui. We generally ate breakfast and dinner in our condo. Not only did it save us some money, but it was a nice way to start the day and unwind in the evenings while the girls went to the pool. Generally we'd start the morning with a quick breakfast and hit a good snorkeling beach and return for lunch/showers.

Upon the first night of our arrival (Saturday, April 14th) we had dinner at the Beach Club at Kaanapali Shores. I had the Grilled Opakapaka with a coconut sauce and chopped macadamia nuts. It was so good. I loved the fish. It reminds me of tilapia. We've been eating a lot of tilapia here at home lately, cooked in the oven with some lemon-pepper.

We definitely have some excellent memories and can't wait to do it again.

In the weeks prior to our trip we purchased a copy of Maui Revealed: The Ultimate Guidebook (Copyright 2007; 3rd edition) and carried it along with us. It is an excellent book! We used it on a regular basis.

Our trip to Maui was amazing! The hotel concierge gave us a lot of good ideas for what to do on Maui. We ended up going on a whale watching trip, a snorkel trip, a " Road to Hana" bus tour, and a luau.

It was really great. I wish I could do it again. If I could I would choose to go snorkeling and possibly more hiking.
